Shopping Green for Everyday Staples

Shopping green is becoming increasingly fun. Whether it's for everyday staples, like coffee, or even color makeup palettes, shopping for accessories and doing good by Mother Earth just got easier.

NESPRESSO
The chocolate- turned- coffee experts, Nestle, have developed a coffee machine and program that promotes "ecolaboration" on all fronts. Nestled has partnered with the Rainforest Alliance with a commitment to help coffee farmers grow high quality coffee, earn more income and respecting the earth at the same time. Their nespresso machines now featured an automatic standby feature to consume less energy. Their green research is continuous to keep evolving more efficient, greener processes.  The "capsules" that contain the finest coffee grounds are hermetically sealed, hence there's no oxidation and preserves the richness and freshness of the ground coffee. And now, you can return those "used capsules" to designated Espresso stores where organic and inorganic waste, are recycled.

In Miami, just head to the one in South Beach at 1111 Lincoln Road.  Visit http://www.nespresso.com/
