The Connection to the Movie
Never heard of the Ford Ka? If you live in the U.S. probably not. This Ford sub compact originally launched in Europe at the Paris 1996 auto show and has wowed buyers with its compact size, age-less design and lively dynamics—for an economy car—handling, selling more than 1.4 million copies in its eight-year run. Aside from minor upgrades, the three-door hatch has remained fundamentally the same until this complete redesign for the 2009 model year.
The new Ka was co-developed with Fiat and will be built alongside the Italian automaker’s retro 500 at a Fiat plant in Poland. Like Kas of old, it should be economical and practical, albeit slightly larger and updated with modern technologies. Certain Ka components are shared with the new Ford Fiesta B-segment car that will be sold in North America in 2010, a year after it launches in Europe.
The Ford Ka is not designed to sell in the U.S. Is there a cousin to the Ka you ask? The closest is the Ford Fiesta.

Does the Fiesta or Ka match your personality? Find one that fits your spirit and wallet. Camille did in Quantum of Solace. She's no accessory to James Bond in this film. She's on her own mission and knows how to get there!
The Ford Ka sells for 8,000 pounds or the equivalent $14,000 USD.
