Vibrators for Vehicles --Myth or Fact?

It's 2008--find out what gadgets, gizmos and concoctions truly work in increasing gas mileage efficiency.

1. Fuel Mizer (as pictured above)-- increase mileage up to 20%??? Could it be true?
2. Additives--EPA has tested hundreds of them. Find out which ones passed the test.
3. Magnets to reduce the lead in gas--Hear what the FTC and EPA say about this gizmo.
4. Water & electrolysis --isn't that for hair removal?
5. Chocolate--of course ! Why didn't I think of that?! Could this really be the panacea for pump prices?

According to recent segment and analysis on Good Morning America, some work, some don't. Find out below.

THE ANSWERS:

1. Yes, this actually works. The trick is to follow the sound beeps to slow down or release the gas pedal. In other words, no petal-to-the-metal jump start or road runner fury. Based on the news report from GMA, it appears that the Fuel Mizer senses the speed from vibration. Not sure. So follow the Beeps!

2. NONE of the additives passed any testing by the Environmental Protection Agency.

3. One of the biggest marketing hoaxes is the magnet story. Don't be fooled by any advertisement to remove lead with magnets.

4. Adding water to dilute or extend the life of the fuel is a sure-fire way to ruin your engine.

5. According to the experts, the properties of chocolate is very promising as a future fuel alternative. Indeed, if chocolate is an aphrodisiac for humans why not spike the fuel and spice up machines!
