Kids say the darndest things. I remember as a little girl going fishing with my dad. The outdoor weather, the fresh water lakes, hooking the squirmy bait, casting my line, and reeling the fish-- all by myself. Those were happy times in my childhood. Then when I heard about the Exxon Valdez tanker spill in Prince William Sound in Alaska, it pained me to think of the fish life and entire eco-system that were destroyed. As an adult, I realized that I have done little to change my habits, to do my part in protecting mother earth. This blog is about simplifying the barrage of noise about "going green" and taking it one step at a time. But like my childhood memories, we want this to be fun to motivate change. So join us on this journey and share your tips and experience by posting a comment! CHRISTINE
